How We Operate

Grants will be allocated to registered charitable organizations and to those providing community services or projects in the Kamloops region. The Foundation supports projects and programs which meet a significant need within the community, and is partial to projects and organizations demonstrating broad base inclusion with fiscal integrity. Community needs or projects that indicate collaboration and cooperation with other organizations will be looked upon favorably; particularly those requiring public/private partnerships.

The Cooper Family Foundation makes granting decisions on a proactive basis, and does not respond to unsolicited grant applications. If the board of directors is interested in providing a grant to a charity, the charity will be invited to apply for support.

The foundation’s primary focus is to provide individuals, corporations, organizations and the public sector a collaborative partner in substantial projects that impact Kamloops and the region.
